NBA Player Props 3/25
Last week felt like the week we went perfect in the player props. Unfortunately, Domantas Sabonis had 5 assists in 40 minutes. He followed that up with 10 assists in less than 30 minutes the next game. That is just the way the cookie crumbles.
Bam Adebayo coasted to his line, while we went with the dangerous under for Draymond Green‘s points, which hit with ease. Tonight there are 11 games to choose from. The regular season is winding down, but the props are still calling our names. Let’s see what player props are we hitting on today.
Gary Trent Jr. 20+ Points (-135)
The Toronto Raptors are ready for this season to end. They lost Scottie Barnes to a broken hand and have been free-falling ever since. They have lost 10 straight games and are just in full tank mode. Tonight they face another team that is waiting for the season to end the Brooklyn Nets, losers of six straight games.
The Raptors have been getting contributions despite the loss of Barnes. The number one guy that has stepped up is Gary Trent Jr. He has been on fire this month. In March, Trent is averaging 21 points per game. Furthermore, he is averaging 20 points against the Nets themselves.
This game might not be the one everyone is watching. However, Trent is a good player to watch with his scoring outputs. He should crack this number as long as the game is a close one.
Devin Booker 6+ Assists (-175)
Devin Booker is having a phenomenal season that is being overshadowed by the historic seasons that other players are having. He has taken a step in his playmaking ability. Booker is averaging a career-high in assists at 6.9 per game. I believe grabbing his assists at 6+ is the perfect scenario.
He has hit this number in 7 of his last 10 games. Against the San Antonio Spurs alone, Booker is averaging 11 assists this season. The matchup against the Spurs tonight is a juicy one for this prop. Booker is the primary ball-handler on this team. He has become very good at passing in the pick-and-roll, while also generating eyes from the other team where he kicks it out to the shooters in the corner or wing.
Booker has been impressive all season long with his passing and that has correlated with his assists numbers. Grabbing this number at less than -200 odds is a perfect scenario.
Jalen Green 25+ Points (-175)
Jalen Green might be making the leap we have waited for since his rookie year. The past 10 games have been a whole new version of Jalen Green. In that same timeframe, Green is averaging 27 points per game. In the whole month of March thus far, he is almost averaging 28 points per game.
Tonight the Houston Rockets take on the Portland Trail Blazers, who are ready for this season to end. The Rockets are on the verge of stealing that last play-in spot from the Golden State Warriors. This all starts with the emergence of Green since their star player, Alperen Sengun went down with that scary ankle injury.
The Trail Blazers are a bottom-10 defense, which Green has exploited already this season. He is averaging 28 points against them this season. Green has been lights out as of late and I want to bank on him continuing this trend.
Nikola Vucevic Over 11.5 Rebounds (-113)
Nikola Vucevic has taken a slight dip in the rebounding department this season. After four consecutive seasons of averaging 11 or more rebounds per game, he is now below that threshold. He even had a stinker in his last game with only two rebounds against the Boston Celtics. I believe that all changes tonight.
The Chicago Bulls face off against the lowly Washington Wizards. This Wizards squad is one of the worst in recent memory. They are bad at a plethora of things, but rebounding might be up there. They allow the most team rebounds per game at 48.9, which is 3 rebounds more than second place. This is where Vucevic comes into play.
He should be able to take advantage of this team after a putrid rebounding effort in his last outing. Also, the last time he played the Wizards, he managed to snag 13 rebounds. This might be the most dangerous prop here, but I have to bank on the Wizards being the Wizards.
