NFL Prop Bets Week 7

It’s always a fun week when players like Chris Godwin, Terry McLaurin, and Keenan Allen score multiple touchdowns! It’s not so much fun when Sean Tucker, Bub Means, and Kristian Wilkerson are snagging touchdowns from the star players. For some, it may be, but not for me. My bets were on other players! Tough go last week, can’t lie. Here’s where we stand:

  • Straight props: 18-8
  • Anytime TD: 7-9
  • Player Prop Parlays: 2-4

Straight props are still thriving but we need to lock in for our touchdown scorers this week. No time like the present to get back on track for week 7. Let’s dive into what players are bringing in the big bucks for us this week!

Drake Maye O 204.5 passing yards (-114)

Drake Maye had a solid NFL debut in my opinion. His first career start came against one of the league’s tougher passing defenses and he threw for 243 yards and 3 touchdowns. I would expect a lot worse for a rookie debut! He did have 2 interceptions, which is worth noting. However, this week Drake Maye is across the pond facing the Jaguars, who have the league’s WORST passing defense in the league. They give up an average of 275 yards a game. I want in on the Drake Maye train this week! Let’s see some DeMario Douglas action or maybe even more Kayshon Boutte! I feel confident Drake Maye can creep up towards that 250-yard mark again.

Kyle Pitts O 40.5 receiving yards (-114)

I didn’t see myself throwing money on Pitts’ overs this year but here we are! Pitts has been heavily involved in the Falcons passing game the past few weeks. This week, he will face a Seahawks defense that struggles against good tight ends. Kittle, LaPorta and even Hunter Henry each had good games versus the Seahawks. Following this trend, I’ll take Kyle Pitts to have more than 40 receiving yards this week. The line is right below his average and this feels like the perfect spot to bet on him. The targets are there, he’s got a QB who can get him the ball and this game should be a great watch! Let’s go, Kyle!

Tony Pollard O 62.5 rushing yards (-110)

I went into this hoping I could pinpoint a running back who would struggle this week and we could jump on their “under” but once I saw Pollard’s line, I changed my mind. They face the Bills, who have given up 60+ rushing yards to almost every team’s running back that they have faced so far this season. On top of that, Tyjae Spears hasn’t practiced this week yet. If Spears can’t go, Pollard should eat on Sunday!

Josh Jacobs U 15.5 rushing attempts (+102)

Much like I have done in previous weeks, this is a gut call. The matchup seems too good to wind up in a “chew the clock” scenario for the Packers and most likely will be an air attack game for both teams if you ask me. If the Texans get ahead early, the Packers may lean on the passing attack more than Josh Jacobs. While the plus odds on this one are intimidating, his under here feels like it is due! When Jacobs has faced a tougher run defense this season, he has been under 15.5 each time, or just slightly above. I like the chances on this pick!

Anytime Touchdowns

Brian Thomas Jr. +185

This is the perfect get-right spot for the Jaguars and Brian Thomas Jr. is going to be part of the process. This is a winable game, and not to mention he was slightly off the mark with Trevor Lawrence last week. I know the thought of Christian Gonzalez shadowing him is present, but I also think BTjr is simply THAT good it doesn’t matter who is lining up against him. He will get his chances. This week, I see Brian Thomas Jr snagging a touchdown ball in London!

DeVonta Smith +210

This one stood out to me for a couple of reasons. First, if you look at DeVonta when he faces the Giants, he has scored a touchdown 3 out of 5 times. 60% of the time he scores against them? Sure, I’ll put my money on that! I know it is a small sample size, but they’ve got A.J. Brown and their former back, Saquon, to worry about as well. What a great spot for DeVonta to score a touchdown in back-to-back weeks.

Ja’Tavion Sanders +380

Sanders’s role in the Panthers offense has slowly been increasing as the season progresses. That’s why I’m taking a shot on him to score this week. It would be his first NFL touchdown, too! The past two Sundays, Sanders has seen a total of 12 targets. Not to mention, the Commanders could be in the lead for the majority of this game, which would put the Panthers in a pass-first game script. Fingers crossed the targets continue and we can sneak into the endzone against a weak Commanders defense!
