NFL Prop Bets Week 6

Money Where Your Mouth IsWe are slowly approaching a third of the season already. I am not okay. Can we rewind??? Week 6 got here faster than I could withdraw my winnings! We are up 18 units as it stands. Here is the season-long tracker:

  • Straight props: 14-6
  • Anytime TD: 7-6
  • Player Prop Parlays: 2-3

I have to say, I’m very happy with the player prop picks thus far. We’ve got to keep it rolling, though. There is plenty of time for the losses to pile up if we don’t keep cashing in on them. There are some really interesting lines this week, so we need to be extra sharp with our prop choices this time around. I’m talking extra sharp cheddar, people!! I have some juicy anytime touchdown scorers for us this week, so stay tuned until the end!

Dalton Schultz Over 3.5 receptions (+116 FanDuel)

I am shocked this one is sitting at plus odds, considering Nico Collins is on IR now. Get the line now! I like this line for week 6 because when Nico went out last game, Dalton managed to reel in 4 catches on 6 targets. That was when Nico Collins played a good chunk of the game. Here are some old stats for you: Schultz reached this line in 8 games last season, so with Collins out, I will hop on the Schultz train this week! Especially since Stroud has been throwing the ball 30+ times a game on average.

Saquon Barkley over 109.5 rushing + receiving yards (-114 FanDuel)

This has a chance to be the easiest bet of the week. Of course, me saying that is jinxing it but hey, I do love this pick. Saquon has hit this number, rather comfortably I might add, every single week. Off the bye week he is suddenly going to miss this mark? C’mon now! Let’s go Saquon! I know A.J. Brown is back in the lineup, but my theory is that the more stars there are in the lineup, the less attention there is on each one. I’m not saying it is gospel, but it has worked before!

Andy Dalton under 220.5 passing yards (-114 FanDuel)

I enjoy Andy Dalton slinging the pigskin just as much as any other football guy. But it seems as though the Red Rifle is running out of gunpowder. His first start, he racked up 300+ yards. The next week it dropped to 220, and then last week we saw him only have 136 yards against the Bears secondary. This week, he faces the Falcons who also have a stout passing defense. My friends, this is easy money. I’ll say it. He may cross that 200-yard mark, but he is not going to ruin our bet!

D’Andre Swift over 14.5 rushing attempts (+110 FanDuel)

Something has been clicking in Chicago for the Bears the past two weeks. They have won back-to-back games, and in that span, D’Andre Swift has surpassed this line. Whether the coaches figured out Swift needed to be more involved or the matchups were favorable I don’t know. I know that the Jaguars’ defense is subpar, and D’Andre Swift could be in for a solid day! I feel good putting money on this one because if the coaching staff is any good at their jobs, they will continue to give Swift the ball.

Anytime Touchdowns

Jayden Daniels +150

Jayden Daniels has been a rookie sensation through the first few weeks of his NFL journey. He has transformed the Commanders’ offense and given life to a defeated fanbase. He has already run 4 touchdowns in this season and this week feels like a good week for him to scamper across the goal line again. He did not do this last week, which, in my opinion, puts him in a good spot to do it this week. Plus, the Rabens front 7 will most likely be in his grill all game so he will be scrambling!

Dalton Schultz +320

He’s due. Let’s be real. Schultz had 5 touchdowns last season, and through five weeks, he has been scoreless. On top of that, Nico Collins is out, which we previously mentioned, so someone needs to step up in his absence. AKA – Dalton Schultz. I’m not saying he is going to put up TE1 numbers. But if he wound up with 5 catches for 60-some yards and a score, I would not flinch one bit. Let’s go, Dalton!

Quentin Johnston +330

This one feels right. Off the bye and didn’t find paydirt before going into the bye week? Sign me up. The Broncos’ pass defense has been really solid but I would be shocked if Herbert did not have the Chargers down in the redzone at some point in this matchup. If the Chargers can get the run game established early on, that would make it a hell of a lot easier for QJ to do his thing. With QJ sitting at +330 I really like this one to hit. It’s either him or Ladd if we’re being honest!
