Money Where Your Mouth Is Week 3

Money Where Your Mouth IsWeek 3 has bettors across the country scrambling. The general population needs to get revenge on the books in week 3! Tough week in the books, am I right? We had a couple of hits but certainly was not the best week. Let’s take a look at how we did.

Season Long tracking:

  • Straight props: 6-6
  • Anytime Touchdown Picks: 0-4
  • Player Prop Parlays: 1-1

I was expecting a bad week as soon as I raised my units. Just the way it goes!

Week 3 has commenced and this week is when we get our revenge on the books. The trends are starting to set in and we are starting to see who is getting the pieces of the pie on offense. I’m sure that will all stay the same… I need to lock in this week, we need to bounce back from last week’s picks!

Malik Nabers O 67.5 receiving yards (-114 FanDuel)

I like this line a lot. We saw Nabers’s targets skyrocket after his rookie debut, now he will face a Browns defense who will likely take care of business, but I don’t see that stopping Nabers from hitting this line. 66 yards in week one, 127 yards last week, and nothing but opportunity in front of him as the season progresses. Hell, he was my longest reception pick in the opener, he is capable of hitting this line in one catch! My mindset is also in line with Brian Daboll having a short leash for Daniel Jones, so if all hell breaks loose early in the game, I wouldn’t be surprised if Drew Lock is thrown in for the second half. If you are afraid of the yardage, his receptions total is at o/u 5.5 and I also like him catching 6+ passes this week.

Javonte Williams O 42.5 rushing yards (-114 FanDuel)

This is a risky pick I’ll admit. Javonte hasn’t looked all that impressive if you look at the boxscore. Not a lot of rushing yards accumulated, which might make you think why not take his under? Because I think this is the week he gets it going! The Broncos offense hasn’t been clicking but the Bucs defense is a good spot for them to get the wheels turning. The Bucs allowed Jayden Daniels to rush for 88 yards, and Jahmyr Gibbs to rush for 84 yards. So in my mind, Javonte is hitting 50 yards minimum this week! He’s got to. Would love to see this bet hit on one long run!

Dak Prescott O 256.5 passing yards (-114 FanDuel)

You’re telling me Dak isn’t throwing for 300+ yards against the (on paper) worst secondary in the league at the moment? The Ravens gave up 275 to Gardner Minshew, and no disrespect, but Dak is far better than Minshew. Give me the over here all day. It helps that the Cowboys just got upset by the Saints so they should be responding with a vengeance. Dak hit this line once already and the other game that he didn’t was the Browns in the season opener who have a tough defense. I see Dak hitting this number and wouldn’t be surprised if he surpasses it handsomely.

Anytime Touchdown

Adam Thielen +380

Going out on a limb with this one. The last time Adam Thielen and Andy Dalton played together, Thielen had 11 catches for 145 yards and a touchdown. I like seeing they had a connection. That was a high-scoring game, so that benefitted Thielen and this matchup may not be as much of a shootout. I’m still happy putting money on Thielen to score. Let’s win us a juicy one this week!

Jauan Jennings +200

The opportunity is there. No Deebo Samuel, no CMC, and likely no George Kittle on Sunday. How could he not find the endzone?! He had 5 targets and 4 targets in the first two games of the season and will see more this week. I love the thought of doubling my money off him scoring, and in such a profound offensive scheme, how could he, not this week? He is certainly going to be in my fantasy lineups this week!

Chris Olave +150

The beginning of the season hasn’t quite gone the way some thought it would for Chris Olave. Rashid Shaheed has been lighting it up and Kamara has been hogging all of the touchdowns. Well, this week I think we see Olave record his first touchdown of the season. The Eagles defense has given up 4 receiving touchdowns this season and the 6th most passing yards. Chris Olave is due and the Eagles are the perfect team for it. Even though they have young, promising secondary pieces, Olave is going to teach them a thing or two this week!

We’ll put 1u on each of these bets this week and cross our fingers for some good luck! Let’s get ready to rock ‘n roll for week 3. Be sure to follow Picks Calculator as well as myself on X!
