Best NBA Player Props 3/6
The second half of the NBA season is going strong as playoff teams are hitting their strides, while other teams are just trying to make it to the end of the season. Regardless of the situation, the betting world is still going to find some props to play. Tonight we have a total of eight games on the ticket, as a few teams are playing on the second night of a back-to-back. There are a few props that you should take a glance at. Here are some of them.
Wendell Carter Jr. Over 7.5 Rebounds (-130)
The Orlando Magic are one of the teams that are playing that second night of a back-to-back, which can usually make me want to stay away from their props. However, they are facing the Washington Wizards tonight, who are in the midst of a 15-game losing streak. The Wizards are just an awful basketball squad, while the Magic are rolling, as they are 8-2 in their last 10 and on a four-game winning streak.
Wendell Carter Jr. is finally looking healthy this year and has been good for the Magic in the past few weeks. His rebounding might not be the most consistent, but when he gets the minutes and is healthy, Carter can snag those eight rebounds we need.
The matchup is not only enticing for the Magic but for Carter himself. The Wizards allow the most rebounds per game and by a decent margin compared to second place. If you want a sample size that is smaller that coincides with trading for Marvin Bagley III, they are still last in that category in their last 10 games.
Bagley is their best rebounder and best big on the roster, but he will not be available for tonight’s game. Carter should get the rebounds, but a potential early blowout can see him fall just short. Nonetheless, I still want to play this prop with how enticing the numbers are making it look.
Keyonte George Over 4.5 Assists (-122)
This prop might not contain a player that is easy to trust, but the line just seems too low in my eyes. Keyonte George has hit this over in 7 of his last 10 games. However, his last two games didn’t see him reach the five assists we need tonight. Why was that? George was on fire against the Miami Heat and dropped a whopping 31 points with four assists, just missing the over. In his most recent game against the Washington Wizards, he was battling through an illness and was only able to play six minutes.
The rookie guard is not a playmaker by any means, but he is understanding of his role on this Utah Jazz squad. He knows when it is time to facilitate the ball, which is what he has been doing as of late. Furthermore, the Chicago Bulls are a bottom 10 team in assists allowed per game.
This is more of a risky option due to him still potentially battling the illness and being an inconsistent rookie, but I think the line is just too low to pass up. Take the line and don’t think twice.
LeBron James 8+ Assists (-155)
The man who just scored 40,000 points, LeBron James is on the card tonight, but not for his scoring. We are rolling with his assists. LeBron James has been a tear with his passing as of late. In his last 10 games, LeBron is averaging 10 assists per game. Furthermore, they are playing the Sacramento Kings tonight, whom LeBron is averaging 10 assists per game against in two matchups this season.
The Lakers are actually fighting for a playoff spot and the “King” knows that. He will not be taking games off at this point and knows that the urgency is there. The Kings are also in the play-in realm with the Lakers, so this game is important for both teams. The Lakers need it more so, as they are the 9th seed, while the Kings are the 7th seed. However, they are only 1.5 games away from one another. LeBron definitely knows this.
The Kings pace and Lakers desire to win this game should have LeBron easily touching this number. Getting this below -200 in my eyes is a steal and a must add to the ticket.
