NBA Player Props 11/20
The week has started scorching hot for us. We went 3-0 on Monday thanks to Cade Cunningham, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Karl-Anthony Towns for doing their part. Tonight we look to continue that momentum. We have eight games on the slate today with some heavy hitters playing. After an unsuccessful showing last week, we want to keep pushing along after that perfect start on Monday. Let’s take a look at the three best props for Wednesday.
Tyrese Haliburton Under 32.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-113)
Tyrese Haliburton has been a shell of himself this year. He was an All-Star and All-NBA last season. Even though he did not get much playing time with Team USA, he still won an Olympic gold medal in the summer. Despite all of the recent success, Haliburton looks off out there. His jump shot can hit the backboard or be a complete airball at any given moment. Teams are starting to sag off and daring him to shoot.
The one takeaway from looking at Haliburton’s numbers is his home and road splits. At home, he is his All-Star version. He averages 20.8 PPG with 8.8 APG. He is also shooting 46% from the field and 39% from three. However, on the road that is when things get funky. His PPG average drops to 12.6. The APG is still relatively the same at 8.3, but the shooting splits are troublesome. He is shooting 31% from the field and 20% from three on the road. Unfortunately, tonight the Indiana Pacers face the Houston Rockets in Houston after they played in Toronto on Monday.
One reason for the road drop-off could be this lingering back issue he suffered last season. If you look at Haliburton on the bench at times, he has a heating pad on just to keep his back from tightening up. Something might be seriously wrong with his back and it flares up on the plane rides and having to sleep in hotel beds. The matchup itself doesn’t bode well for Haliburton as the Rockets are one of the better defenses in the NBA.
The Rockets allow the least amount of APG and fastbreak points. They are also in the top 10 in three-pointers allowed. Those are the two ways Haliburton can dominate a game. All of the signs point towards a letdown spot for Haliburton.
Giannis Antetokounmpo 12+ Rebounds (-165)
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. That is such a great saying that applies perfectly to sports betting. Sometimes it is good to keep doing the same thing if it makes you consistent money. That is what I’m doing here by running back to Giannis Antetokounmpo for 12+ rebounds for the second straight time this week. On Monday, Giannis had a great matchup and he does once again tonight.
The Chicago Bulls allow the 3rd-most RPG to opponents. Giannis should eat them up on the glass. The former 2-time MVP is averaging 12.4 RPG and has snagged at least 12 rebounds in every game this month except for one. Giannis dominates every team in the rebounding department, but the Bulls are very susceptible to allowing big rebounding games, such as the one Jalen Duren had the other night after he ripped down 22 rebounds.
This is another great for Giannis and this prop. If all things go to plan, Giannis should breeze to this number.
Jaren Jackson Jr. 20+ Points (-155)
The Memphis Grizzlies are in a weird spot right now. They are 8-7 in the tough Western Conference, but they are still dealing with the same slew of injuries that plagued them last season. Ja Morant is out for a few weeks. Desmond Bane already missed time. Marcus Smart has been in and out of the lineup. Luckily, Jaren Jackson Jr. has been the mainstay for the season thus far.
JJJ is stepping up for a team that is trying to just get everyone healthy at the same time. He is averaging 22.8 PPG on almost 53% shooting. There are nights when the Grizzlies need to look for him to be the guy and he delivers. In the 9 games he has played so far in November, JJJ has reached this mark in 7 of them. He is also facing a Philadelphia 76er team that might be freefalling.
The Sixers are 2-11, which is tied for the worst record in the NBA. They just had a team meeting that got leaked to the media just moments after it concluded. Their stars might be fed up with one another. A lot is going on in Philly right now, but on the court, they can’t stop power forwards. The Sixers allow the 4th-most PPG to power forwards. With Ja still out of the lineup, JJJ should be the one taking the shots against a struggling Sixers squad.
