NBA Player Props 11/13

After taking Monday off for the holiday, we are ready to return with a vengeance for more NBA player prop bets. Last Friday was a rough showing, as we went 1-2 on the night. The undefeated Cleveland Cavaliers demolished Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors, which led to Steph playing far less than anyone expected. Then there was Alperen Sengun who was pulled early from the game due to foul troubles and lack of trust from Ime Udoka. Those two plays were awful choices and made me want to go back in time to find better options. Luckily, Kevin Durant came through and saved us from an embarrassing night.

Today, we look to rebound and move forward. The slate is robust and filled with tons of props to choose from. After scouring the slate, I found the best three props for tonight.

Josh Giddey Over 6.5 Assists (+110)

Josh Giddey and his assists props have been one of my favorite bets so far this season. He has hit this line in 7 of the 11 games he has played this season. Giddey has brought a new sense of ball movement and pace to a Chicago Bulls team that was lacking in those departments. He is not a super athletic guard, but he is a gifted passer and can find the open man with ease.

Giddey and the Bulls play the New York Knicks, which can be challenging for this Bulls squad. However, the Knicks played last night and Jalen Brunson got a little dinged up. There is a chance he will miss the game and this becomes a tight contest. If the game is within reach for the Bulls heading late into the 4th quarter, Giddey should breeze through this line.

The Bulls have adopted a faster approach and that is thanks to Giddey and his 7 APG. The ball movement he provides was much needed and that is why this bet is becoming my favorite. Giddey looks rejuvenated and should have a shot at reaching this total once again.

Bradley Beal 20+ Points (-175)

The Phoenix Suns have gotten out to a scorching-hot start, as they are currently 9-2. Unfortunately, they lost Kevin Durant for several weeks due to a calf strain. Now that means Bradley Beal will have to take on a larger load in the offense. In the first two games since the Durant injury, Beal has scored 24 and 28 points, respectively. However, this is nothing new for the former All-Star.

Before Beal came over to the Suns, he was a dynamic scorer for the Washington Wizards. There were two seasons in D.C. where Beal averaged 30 PPG. He is a capable scorer, but he understands that on this Suns team, he is third in the pecking order. Now that is going to change for the next few weeks and Beal is ready to move up.

The Suns face off against the Sacramento Kings, who are not defensive juggernauts. They allow 113.3 PPG, which is 19th in the NBA. They are also in the bottom-3 in the NBA in defensive three-point categories. Beal is shooting almost 7 threes per game while shooting at a 38% clip.

Devin Booker will be getting all the attention on defense, which should allow Beal to pick apart a defense that is lackluster. This is a big Western Conference showdown and Beal will need to step up for the Suns. He has shown he can reach this number when called upon and that most likely will be the case once again tonight.

Tyrese Haliburton Under 32.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-110)

One of the biggest disappointments this season has to go to Tyrese Haliburton. After having an electric season last year that led to a surprising run to the Eastern Conference Finals, Haliburton was poised to follow it up by taking the Indiana Pacers up to another tier within the NBA. However, that is far from the case right now. The Pacers are 5-5 and luckily in 4th place in the Eastern Conference due to the overall ineptitude of the conference itself.

Haliburton looks like a shell of himself compared to last year. He is averaging 16.7 PPG, 4.3 RPG, and 8.3 APG while shooting 40.8% from the field and 27.3% from three. His struggles are immense and he has to play a tough defense tonight in the Orlando Magic.

The Magic own the 2nd-best defensive rating in the NBA. They also take away fast break opportunities, as they are the 4th-best team in fast break points allowed. Haliburton’s biggest strength is finding the open man, but the Magic are top 5 in allowed APG. This defense can be stifling for any guard, but Haliburton is struggling and is now going to have to face Jalen Suggs all night.

Haliburton has faced this Magic squad twice and is 1-1 going under this line. The first outing was inflated due to an abnormal rebounding night from him, but the second meeting was the one we have seen from Haliburton for most of the season. There is still hope that Haliburton finds his footing, but I can’t see it starting against this Magic defense.
