Falcons vs Eagles Week 2 Prop Bets

Saquon Barkley

The Atlanta Falcons vs Philadelphia Eagles close out Week 2 of the NFL, and we have our best prop bets for Monday Night’s feature.

Most of the money has come for the Eagles to win at home and improve to 2-0, and we have found some juicy prop bets for bettors to sink their teeth into.

Saquon Barkley is the top name on our list, and he could run all over the Falcons’ defense at Lincoln Financial Field.

Barkley to Score TD Double

Pick: Saquon Barkley 2+ Touchdowns (+250)

Moving from New York to Philadelphia was the best career move Barkley could have made, and it’s paying off. The bulldozing running back scored two touchdowns in his Eagles debut against the Green Bay Packers, and we expect the Falcons defense to struggle containing him.

He is one of the more dynamic running backs in the NFL, and although his career has been marred by injury and a terrible Giants offensive line, times have changed and Barkley is back to his best.

He rushed for 109 yards on 24 carries, so he was heavily used in the opening week. Hurts was careless with the ball, committing two interceptions, so they could use Barkley even more, especially in situations close to the end zone.

The odds for Barkley to score a touchdown are short, so we’re taking the better value with NFL odds to score two or more.

Cousins to Struggle Again

Pick: Kirk Cousins Under 224.5 Passing Yards

It was a rude awakening for Kirk Cousins in his Falcons debut. He had one touchdown and two interceptions, and more importantly, he threw for only 155 yards against Pittsburgh.

Cousins will need to be much better against the Eagles, who have a solid defense, but we can’t see it happening. He has always been a quarterback who can struggle with confidence, and making such a poor start could have a flow-on effect on Monday night, especially with a loud crowd rooting against him.

Throwing over 224.5 yards is something Cousins is used to, but the line reflects the lack of confidence in NFL betting markets. His passing yards line is lower than Jalen Hurts, and we didn’t think we would ever see that.

It could be another bumbling performance for Cousins, so include under 224.5 passing yards in your MNF parlays. There is also value with Cousins under 33.5 passing attempts. He threw 26 times against the Steelers, but we wouldn’t be surprised if he hands the ball off to Bijan Robinson more time this around.

Robinson Being Called Upon

Pick: Bijan Robinson Over 64.5 Rushing Yards

It’s not easy to put your faith in such a young player, but the Falcons might not have much choice in trusting Robinson to carry the ball against the Eagles.

He rushed for only 68 yards against the Steelers, but there is big improvement coming for the highly-touted running back. He’s explosive at his best, and he might have needed that game to shake off the rust.

Bookmakers have the line lower than we expected. We would have expected the line to be around 74.5, and he could put up big numbers in the rushing department, especially in the second half when the Eagles defense is tiring.

It might not translate to touchdowns for the Falcons, but Robinson will get more touches, and he could put up sizable numbers. It’s one of our best NFL props bets for Week 2. Robinson is a star, and he could carry the Falcons offense and put them on his back.
